Today, let’s talk about the working knowledge of medium frequency spot welding machines. For friends who have just joined this industry, you may not know much about the mechanical use and working process of spot welding machines. Below are the three main steps of the working process of a medium frequency spot welding machine:
Preparing before Welding:
Before welding, remove oxides on the surface of the electrodes and check the lubrication condition of each rotating bearing.
Check if the transmission chain is normal, ensuring no extrusion or jamming phenomenon, and the chain meshes well with each sprocket.
Strictly inspect the spot welding machine and its ancillary equipment to ensure the normal operation of the machine’s circuits, waterways, airways, and mechanical devices.
Attention during Welding:
During operation, there should be no blockages in the air path or water cooling system, and there should be no moisture in the gas. The drainage temperature should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius.
Keep the pistons of the cylinders, and the pistons and bearings of the hinge chains smooth.
Tighten the task stroke adjustment nut of the upper electrode. The electrode pressure can be adjusted by rotating the pressure reducing valve handle according to the welding standard requirements.
Post-Welding Attention:
There should be no blockages in the cooling water system, and the cooling water should be discharged regularly.
Before and after use, the electrode surface should be ground.
During the welding process, when stopping the task, cut off the power supply, gas supply, initial sealing water source, and remove debris and welding slag splashes.
