For the reason that the welding spot of IF spot welding machine is not firm, we first look at the welding current. Since the heat generated by the resistance is proportional to the square of the current passing through, the welding current is the most important factor to generate heat. The importance of the welding current does not simply refer to the size of the welding current, and the current density is also very important.
One is the power-on time, which is also an important factor to generate heat. The heat generated by power-on is released through conduction. Even if the total heat is certain, the maximum temperature at the welding place is different due to different power-on time, and the welding results are different.
Pressurization is an important step for heat generation during welding. Pressurization is the mechanical force applied to the welding part. The contact resistance is reduced by pressurization, so that the resistance value is uniform. Local heating during welding can be prevented, and the welding effect is uniform
1. Incomplete penetration, i.e. during tack welding, does not constitute a “lenticular” arrangement of nuggets. This kind of defect is very dangerous and will greatly reduce the strength of welding spot.
2. Commissioning welding parameters. If it is confirmed that there is no problem with the parameters, check the main power supply circuit, such as whether the power supply is sufficient and whether the welding transformer is damaged.
3. Low welding current, excessive contact wear, insufficient air pressure, and contacts not in the same horizontal line can cause insecure welding.
