2. Under the same welding current and welding time, the damage load decreases with the increase of welding pressure. Because the pressure increases, the contact resistance between the nut bump and the plate decreases, thereby reducing the welding heat and the damage load. The welding pressure is too high, the convex ring is crushed prematurely, the current density drops sharply, and the damage load is further reduced. On the contrary, if the pressure is too small, the current density will rise sharply to cause splashing or “ignition” and the damage load will also decrease. Adjust the corresponding preload time and appropriate electrode pressure.
3. Ensure the sealing of welded joints, and the range of process parameters is very wide. Compared with welding pressure and welding time, welding pressure is important. Make sure the welding pressure is not too low.
4. When the welding current and welding pressure are the same, as the welding time increases until it increases to the level of overheating, the deformation increases. When the current exceeds a certain value, continue to increase the welding time, and heap changes will occur in the lower part of the nut. The effect of welding pressure on thread deformation is relatively small. It is worth noting that the uniformity of applied welding pressure has a certain guarantee on welding quality.
