1, the use of hard specifications:

The distribution of the current field during hard standard spot welding can better reflect the effect of centralized heating of the edge in response to the fitting surface, and the heat loss is reduced due to the short welding time, and the influence of heat dissipation is relatively reduced, which can be corrected, and the phenomenon of melting core deviation is favorable, for example, the capacitive energy storage welding machine can be used to spot welding precision parts with a large thickness ratio.

2, using different electrodes:

Electrodes of different diameters are used. Thin parts (or weldparts with good electrical and thermal conductivity) are used with small diameter electrodes to increase current density and reduce heat loss, while thick parts (or weldparts with poor electrical and thermal conductivity) are used with large diameter electrodes. The different diameters of the upper and lower electrodes make the temperature field distribution more reasonable and reduce the shift of the melting core.

However, in the spot welding of stainless steel or heat-resistant alloy parts with a relatively large thickness ratio, contrary to the above principle, only small diameter electrodes are placed in the thick part that is effective, commonly known as back welding in the factory, back welding has been applied for many years, but its principle and reasonable application range are still controversial.

The use of electrodes of different materials, due to the difference in the upper and lower electrode materials, the degree of heat dissipation is different, the material with good thermal conductivity is placed on the side of the weldment (or the weldment with poor electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity), so that the loss is also large, and the temperature field distribution can be adjusted to reduce the melting core offset.
