1. The steps of fixture design: the fixture design basis should be consistent with the design basis of the assembly structure, and the installation and welding fixture of the adjacent structure with the assembly relationship should choose the same design basis as far as possible, such as the selection of the benchmark horizontal line and the vertical symmetrical axis as the same design basis.

2. Select the design basis of the fixture: After the design basis is determined, draw the assembled workpiece diagram according to the design basis with double dot lines on the drawing, including the workpiece outline and the intersection joint position required by the workpiece (note that the shrinkage margin is included).

3. Draw the workpiece diagram: determine the positioning method and positioning point of the parts, the clamping force of the parts and the requirements for the clamping force, and select the structural form, size and arrangement of the positioning parts and clamping parts according to the positioning benchmark.

4.
