AGEA Organizes Live Viewing of Military Parade to Commemorate Victory

To mark the 80th anniversary of China’s victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the global anti-fascist war, AGEA organized a live viewing of the grand military parade on the morning of September 3. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices of those who fought for freedom, cherish the peace we now enjoy, and let our team members experience the strength and revival of our nation.

At 9:00 AM, everyone gathered in the employee activity room, standing in solemn attention. As the powerful notes of the March of the Volunteers filled the air, a sense of pride surged through every heart. On the screen, the People’s Liberation Army’s honor guard marched proudly, carrying the bright red five-star flag across Tiananmen Square. The determined expressions and synchronized steps of the soldiers seemed to connect the present with the heroes of the past, as if engaging in a silent dialogue with the warriors who fought in the war 80 years ago.

As President Xi Jinping delivered his key speech and the parade progressed, the audience erupted in applause. The cutting-edge military units and aerial formations showcased China’s military strength, with advanced weaponry like the Dongfeng missiles and J-20 fighter jets making their appearance. Tears welled up in many eyes as we reflected on how our ancestors fought fiercely with their lives to protect the nation. Today, we stand strong with technological advancements, guarding peace—this is the best tribute we can give them! It also reinforced our sense of duty to honor the past and fulfill the responsibility history has entrusted to us.
